Loan Payoff Request Form
LOAN PAYOFF REQUEST & AUTHORIZATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS
Requests for a mortgage loan payoff statement must be submitted in writing and accompanied by written borrower authorization if the request is made by a third party.
Seneca Mortgage Servicing LLC will only release a mortgage payoff statement to the borrower or a person acting with written authorization.
If you are the borrower, please complete SECTION ONE of the form below. If you are requesting the loan payoff to be faxed to you, you must attach a completed Borrower Certification form and submit it with this request by uploading the signed document prior to submission. If the Borrower Certification form is not attached, the payoff will be mailed to the address on file. If the loan has an escrow account, please complete SECTION THREE as well. Complete the new mailing address field, if applicable. Once all required fields marked with a red * are input, click the SUBMIT button. If you will be printing the form and submitting via email, fax or mail, please be sure to sign and date the form prior to submission.
Please note Seneca Mortgage Servicing LLC will not be held responsible if the fax number given is incorrect and/or for delays in postal mailing services.
Seneca will not update the mailing address, if applicable, until this loan has been paid in full.
BORROWER AUTHORIZING A THIRD PARTY
If you, the borrower, are authorizing another person or company to request a payoff statement, please complete SECTIONS ONE and TWO of the form. If you have an escrow account, please complete SECTION THREE as well. Complete all required fields in Section One and print the name of the person or company you are providing authorization to in Section Two.
If you have listed a third party, you authorize Seneca Mortgage Servicing LLC to release payoff information to the third party on this Loan Payoff Request Form. This authorization will remain in effect for 90 days. You may revoke this authorization at any time before the payoff information is disclosed, in writing, by mail, fax or e-mail. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seneca Mortgage Servicing LLC from any liability for providing this information.
THIRD PARTY REQUESTING ON BEHALF OF THE BORROWER
If you are a third party completing this form on behalf of the borrower, you must attach a completed Borrower Authorization of Third Party Form, and submit it with this request by uploading the signed document prior to submission. Click Here to Download the Borrower Authorization Form. If the authorization is not attached, your request will not be honored.
By completing and signing this form you are certifying that you are a borrower listed on the mortgage and agree to the following:
1. I understand that the payoff statement will be sent within 2 business days of my completed request. Requests received after 4:00 p.m. are considered received on the following business day.
2. No payoff or updated payoff figures can be given via telephone.
3. Acceptable forms of payments are Wire, Bank Check, Money Order, or Certified Check.
